The beauty of growing hydrangeas’ in pots is that you can move them around. Many hydrangeas like morning sun and afternoon shade.
Hydro is in the name, they love water; keep them wet but not sitting in a pool of water… nothing likes to go to bed with wet feet! When the blooms start to fade cut them just above the first set of leaves below the bloom head to encourage new growth and re blooming.
Cooler temperatures and shade will help the blooms to last longer, avoid direct sunlight.
